At the symposium we have approached with all sides to “Human Rights Violations in Iraq” at Yeni Yuzyil University; Iraq, which is one of the most important countries in the geography of the Middle East, is a troubled region where resources, material, social and cultural riches have been encountered throughout history. Arab, Turkish and Western scholars, lawyers, journalists and experts have been searching for solutions to the problems in Iraq that have become more intricate with the US occupation in the two-day symposium. Symposium papers were presented to the international public in Turkish, English and Arabic in the name of the International Symposium of Iraq Symposium.
