Uluslararası Hukukçular Birliği (UHUB) üyeleri, İsrail tarafından 1948’de topraklarından sürülen ve bunun sonucu olarak 70 yıldır Lübnan’da mülteci olarak kalan Filistinlilerin çektiği acı ve zorlukları artıracak, çalışma ve geçimlerini kısıtlayacak olan Lübnan Çalışma Bakanlığının yeni düzenleme ve uygulamalarını üzüntüyle takip etmektedir.
Devletlerin bireysel veya toplu güç kullanması sonucunda, söz konusu Filistinli mültecilerin yerlerinden edilerek onların yeni sıkıntılarla karşılaşmalarını istemiyoruz. Öte yandan, Lübnan’ın Filistinli mülteci kardeşlerimize ev sahipliği yapmasını UHUB’un takdir ettiğini de belirtmek isteriz.
Ancak, Lübnan Çalışma Bakanlığın yetkililerini son kararlarından geri dönmeye, Filistinli mültecilerin yaşam koşullarını iyileştirmeye, onları göçe zorlamamaya veya buna sebep olacak uygulamalarını durdurmaya ve Filistinlileri asli vatanlarına geri dönme taahhütlerini güçlendirme çağrısında bulunuyoruz.20.07.2019
PRESS RELEASE ON THE REGULATIONS HARDENING WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE PALESTINIAN REFUGEES IN LEBANON
Members of the International Jurists Union (IJU), regretfully follows the regulations and implementations of the Lebanese Ministry of Labour, which will increase the misery and severity and restrict working and livelihood conditions of the Palestinian refugees who are forced to move from their land in 1948 and have been staying in Labanon for over 70 years.
Our Union do not desire these Palestinian refugees to be forced to move and face new hardships because of the states’ use of individual or collective force. On the other hand, our Union appreciates Lebanon for their efforts of hosting these Palestinian refugees.
Nevertheless, IJU calls Lebanese Ministry of Labour to revoke their last decision, to improve the living conditions of the Palestinian refugees, not to force them to migrate or stop the implementations which will result in forcing them to migrate, and to strenghten its undertaking to help them move to their own lands in Palestine. 20.07.2019
